Who We Are
TeesREP is the world’s largest purpose-built biomass power plant with a capacity of 299MW providing electrical power to the GB National Grid. Powering the equivalent of around 600,000 homes.
Over 200 people work at the site split between operations, maintenance and engineering support as well as multiple local suppliers for goods and services.

Where We Are
Net Zero Teesside (NZT) is a major industrial decarbonisation project in the North East of England, aiming to establish the world’s first net-zero industrial cluster by 2040. It centres on using Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) technology to decarbonise local heavy industry and provide low-carbon power.
The TeesREP site is located close to the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) decarbonisation project which is aiming to establish the world’s first net-zero industrial cluster through Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) technology.
